Chutzpah! Issue 11 is out, and the theme is Xinjiang. In August, chief editor Ou Ning spent ten days in Xinjiang interviewing local artists and writers, gathering fodder for this issue's literary tour of China's westernmost province. Uyghur writer Alat Asem, Kazakh writer Yerkesy Hulmanbiek, and young Han Chinese essayist Li Juan are three of this issue's exciting discoveries. Read more...
